Parent Requirements: |
This program is open to single women and couples. |
| Available Children: | Most of the children available are between the ages of 1 and 5, very young infants and sibling groups are occasionally available for adoption. We work primarily with one orphanage where the children are given excellent care. | |
| Adoption Timetable: | The total process from dossier submission until the time adoptive parents travel to adopt the child averages 3 to 6 months. | |
| Method of Referral: | Dossier submission to the program for referrals. | |
| Travel Requirements: | Two short trips are required, both parents must attend court, only one parent must travel on 2nd trip. Immigration processing is done through Bucharest, Romania. | |
| Fees: | Agency fee $5500 + foreign placement fee $13,500 to $14,500 for healthy child under 5 years of age. Families wishing to adopt two unrelated children should contact us for fees for second child. | |
