DOB 15 July 2004 Was admitted to the Orphanage with the following
diagnosis: brain damage related to hypoxia and ischemia, OU
microphtalm, OS coloboma of retina, anemia 1st degree. Born to young and healthy parents, first pregnancy,
mother has rubella during pregnancy. Apgar score 8-9, weight at delivery
- 3,400 g, length 50 cm. Early neonatal period without any problems;
had several flu and chicken pox, some developmental delay. Vaccinated
according to schedule. Neurologist (21.12.07) mild delay in
psychological and verbal development ***In layman's terms, Tommy was born missing his right eye.*** Surgical treatment is currently not needed. Recommendations: prevention of trauma of left eye, regular consultations with ophthalmologist. Dentist (9.11.07) healthy. Final diagnosis: mild delay in psychological and verbal development, OD: microblepharon, microphtalm, blepharo- conjunctivitis, OS: microphtalm, coloboma of retina, coloboma of n.ophalmicus,
