RAIKO, born 07.10.2000.

At the Orphanage since 30.05.2001. The child is from the 3rd pregnancy and second birth strongly premature. Was born on the 25th week of pregnancy, weight 800g. First three months of live the child spent in the children intensive care department in a very difficult condition due to deficient breathing that later developed into a two-sided pneumonia. Inherent defect in the heart ( opened arterial canaliculus). Closed by surgery on the when the child was 10 days old. Later appeared the following conditions: central hypotomia, bronhialpulm, dysplasia, bronchial asthma and III level retinopaty in both eyes. Raiko is small, motorically clumsy, restless, has little ability to pay attention, some speaking disorders appear. In his speech he sometimes replaces sounds and uses anagrams.

Based on the above-mentioned he has been diagnosed with slight mental backwardness. Needs speech therapy and all other sorts of developing activities, certain lines and rules. Wears glasses. Developmental dynamics have been positive, is able to service himself. He has suffered from the following illnesses: upper respiratory catarrhs, bronchitis, chicken-box, anemia. 15.03.2002 his adenoids were operated.

Raiko has been fixed with difficult handicap.

The child is a severely premature baby, overall condition is highly difficult; has had a heart operation.

Backwardness in the development of speech, social skills, motorics and cognitive skills. The child is hyperactive, energetic. The child has restless behavior and has a low ability to pay attention. Is trying to get what he wants by wranglering or simply by not obeying the orders. Is unable to sense the dangers surrounding him, runs around. Has difficulties concentrating and completing long-term tasks.

Socially active, an activist, wishes to do everything and be a part of everything but is able to do one thing only for a short period of time.

Needs supervision when in a strange environment.

Manually weak, uses scissors and paintbrush badly. Holds the pencil right.

Mainly is in a joyful mood and good-hearted.

Is able to service himself. Wears glasses. Motorically clumsy.

Diagnose by the speech therapist: hypospeech ..II

Ability to work is low, small motivation for co-working. Has difficulties in paying attention and keeping it on one certain activity. Uses spoken language; has a lot of non-grammatisms.

The use of all grammatical forms has not been fixated. The S-sound is missing from his speech and it is hard to automate that. When exited or is eagerly trying to explain something the symptoms appear that indicate stuttering (the repeating of words and syllables, dragging of sounds companied by a spasm). The speech development is not according to his age. There is also backwardness in the development of psychic processes.

The development is positive but slow.

 RAIKO can be adopted but single men and women as well as married couples.
