Learning your a little of your child's language will ease their transition into your home.  It is essential to learn at least some basic vocabulary words of your child's language!  Depending on the age of your child, any child older than an infant comes home frightened, new people, new bed, new clothes, new everything.  Imagine how scary it would be to come home to a family that cannot communicate with them at all.  Please take the time to learn the basics for your child's sake.
